Overview
Join our team in Easley, SC, where you will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring the quality of parts inspected or reworked by third-party service providers. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic on-site manufacturing environment, with openings for both first and second shifts.

2nd Shift - 2pm - 10 pm Monday - Friday, OT may be required on Saturday's
Pay based on experience

Responsibilities
  • Collect and inspect sample parts following specified sampling instructions.
  • Perform visual and dimensional checks against approved specifications using the appropriate equipment.
  • Authorize the release of conforming parts for production and communicate issues with nonconforming parts.
  • Supervise third-party inspection activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Coordinate inspection priorities with production teams to align with manufacturing needs.
  • Maintain inspection documentation and traceability records accurately.
  • Develop and update inspection instructions and standards to support quality procedures.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in inspection methods and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in quality inspection or manufacturing quality control.
  • Proficiency in performing visual inspections and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with using measuring equipment relevant to inspection tasks.
  • Understanding of nonconforming material handling and traceability.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report preparation.
  • Willingness to work on-site and accommodate potential overtime.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or similar production environments.
  • Background in coordinating or verifying third-party inspection work.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and quality audit processes.
  • Technical education or training in quality, manufacturing, or related fields.
