Full time (Mon-Thu 7:30am-4:30 pm Fri 7:30am-2:00pm) or Part time (flexible)

$18.00-$20.00 /hour depending on experience
General Duties
: Machine operator is responsible for the production from the machine. The operator shall perform visual inspection of the product, perform any required post stamping requirements and/or light assembly to the product, pack the product and correctly and complete the label according to the supplied operator instructions.
Essential Functions:
Jobs assigned to machine operators may vary from day to day based on the production schedule. Depending on the job assigned, the operator may be responsible for any or all of the following:
- Reviewing and understanding work instructions and check point sheets when beginning a job.
- Obtain all supplies and tools required for your assigned job(s),
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including but not limited to: packaging labels and any production worksheets.
- Checking stamped parts for defects before giving to next operation or debur.
- Performing applicable quality gauging and/or checks of parts.
- Handling product in a manner to prevent damage and/or contamination.
- Performing all operator requirements of each job per instructions.
- If needed, packaging product per instructions.
- Report any problems to the Foreman immediately or in their absence the General Manager
- Training other Machine Operators as requested by Shift Supervisor
- Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace, paying particular attention to cleaning work areas of all debris and personal effects at the end of the work shift.
- Maintaining a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional, cooperative manner with customers, vendors, all co-workers including subordinates, peers, supervisors, and managers.
- Adhering to and maintaining all ISO procedures related to the job, all work instructions, as well as adhering to all company policies, rules, and regulations.
Pending the production schedule and staffing, Machine Operators may be requested to perform other job description functions or special projects for which they are qualified.
