Location: West Valley
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday

A growing manufacturing organization in the West Valley is seeking a Proposal Specialist to support government and commercial contracting efforts. This position reports directly to the VP of Administration and will play a key role in managing proposals, reviewing contracts, and supporting procurement and compliance activities.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and highly organized project manager who is comfortable working with RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, contracts, deadlines, and multiple internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to identify requirements, scope, and deadlines
  • Manage proposal development from initial review through final submission
  • Draft and edit technical narratives and proposal responses
  • Ensure submissions meet government regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards
  • Review contracts, identify potential risks, and evaluate contract modifications
  • Develop and communicate contract positions to government and commercial customers
  • Coordinate with senior leadership and internal stakeholders throughout the proposal process
  • Track proposal activity, submission status, win/loss metrics, and lessons learned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in contracting, procurement, proposal development, or a related field
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Strong technical and professional writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with government contracting or document management systems is a plus
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
