Manage and lead the development of *** Defense & Space competitive and non-competitive proposals in response to government, international and commercial solicitations/Requests for Proposals.
Build, lead and manage teams of multi-functional individuals to deliver comprehensive, persuasive winning proposals in a short cycle time. This involves defining, developing, and coaching proposal teams to respond to a highly technical request from external customers. This would include process and proposal training. Team leadership tasks include resource management, budget adherence, schedule, and proposal delivery compliance.
Implement a defined and consistent proposal process including proposal planning, leading the kick-off meeting; developing the proposal schedule; process leadership (compliance matrices, outlines, proposal reviews, etc.); assign team tasks, proposal status maintenance; issue resolution; managing production support; post submittal proposal update management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage proposal process from cradle to grave
Manage cross functional teams to meet strict deadlines
Coordinate closely with the sales organization and D&S functions to ensure winning bids
Analyze RFP requirements to determine compliant response structure and volume outlines
Generate detailed RFP response plan and schedule
Facilitate document and color reviews
Work in progress, turnaround time and on time to receiver metrics reporting
Manage process improvement projects
Functional Team Collaboration
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 3 years of proposal management, business development and/or business execution experience (primary contributors to proposals such as Pricing, Sales, Program Management, Tech Sales, Engineering)
Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
WE VALUE (Additional)
Prior Aerospace experience preferred; Defense and Space experience is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to quickly form and manage high performing proposal teams
Experience with diverse team building and virtual coordination
Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels, from individual contributors through executive management
Ability to train others effectively in the proposal process
Motivating people to accomplish difficult tasks in a short time
Ability to manage multiple proposal development activities simultaneously
Greenbelt certified
Knowledge of Government regulations, facilitation skills, offset requirements, and *** products, services and technologies preferred
APMP Certification and/or PMP Certification
Timekeeping
Worker will utilize TWB for weekly time reporting. Supplier should register in Fieldglass on behalf of worker as he/she will not need access to this system.
