Overview
Client is seeking an Operations Analyst to support Lockbox applications and processes within Payment and Deposit Operations. This role will focus on application support, procedure development, operational testing, data analysis, and production issue resolution. The analyst will work closely with operations, service, support, and technology teams to improve processes and support strategic initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide operational and production support for Lockbox applications and related processes.
- Create, edit, document, and test application and operational procedures.
- Write and execute test scripts for application enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform business analysis for payment and deposit applications, including mainframe, PC, distributed, database, and web-based systems.
- Mine and analyze data from primary and secondary sources using joins across multiple datasets.
- Serve as a first point of contact for user-reported application and process issues.
- Track and resolve problems, conduct root cause analysis, and identify preventative measures.
- Participate in Lockbox application, system, process improvement, and project initiatives.
- Translate business requirements for technology teams and explain technical information to operational teams and lines of business.
- Provide high-quality support to internal and external partners and clients.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Ideally 2 years of experience in an operational or support environment.
- Experience documenting and implementing operational or application requirements.
- Ability to analyze and resolve application, process, or operational issues.
- Strong decision-making, research, and analytical skills.
- Experience managing multiple assignments and changing priorities.
- Aptitude with technology-based tools and databases, including Excel and Access.
- Ability to quickly understand and summarize complex information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based and cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- 1–2 years of Operations Analyst experience.
- Experience supporting Lockbox, payment, deposit, or banking operations.
- Experience with Windows systems and software.
- Experience using Excel and Jira.
- Experience managing large datasets and creating pivot tables, summary views, graphs, or data visualizations.
- Experience writing and executing operational test scripts.

- Onsite five days per week.
