Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for managing a small project from initiation through completion or overseeing a specific phase of a larger project. This position ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives.
The role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project schedules and deliverables, monitor risks and changes, and communicate progress to sponsors and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and organizational skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and interdependent workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Manage small projects from start to finish or oversee designated phases of larger projects.
- Support the development of:
- Cost-benefit analyses
- Return on investment (ROI) forecasts
- Project charters
- Risk analyses
- Project schedules
- Track actual project results against established plans and objectives.
- Develop and continuously update project plans based on changing business and project needs.
- Monitor and report progress toward project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage multiple deadlines, deliverables, and interdependent workflows across multiple teams.
- Work independently and proactively to move projects forward.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead project teams and stakeholders to successfully deliver high-value business and system changes.
- Identify and coordinate appropriate resources needed to support project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members, sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Facilitate scope development and subsequent changes among sponsors and stakeholders to maximize ROI and maintain alignment with strategic goals.
- Promote collaboration and maintain a high-performing project team.
Risk, Change & Process Improvement
- Identify, manage, and adapt to project issues, risks, and changes.
- Analyze project information and workflows to identify process improvements.
- Recommend changes that improve project execution and overall effectiveness.
Marketing, Creative & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate creative assets, approvals, and vendor deliverables.
- Support marketing workflow and project management activities.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders and dependencies to ensure deliverables remain on schedule.
- Support campaign tracking and related marketing project activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant functional experience may be considered.
- Experience analyzing and documenting project plans and business solutions.
- Familiarity with a variety of project management concepts, practices, and tools.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, deliverables, and interdependent workflows across multiple teams.
- Ability to work independently and proactively move work forward.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience coordinating creative assets, approvals, and vendor deliverables.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Media, marketing, advertising, or creative operations experience.
- Trade media planning or execution experience.
- Trade show marketing or sponsorship experience.
- Vendor management experience.
- Experience creating or managing UTM links and campaign tracking.
- Experience with Lytho, Asana, or similar marketing workflow/project management tools.
- Familiarity with Vision Expo and trade media providers.
