Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mid to large, high-priority projects that impact multiple lines of business and functional areas. This role requires strong project delivery, change management, risk management, stakeholder communication, and cybersecurity/governance/risk management experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead one or more complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Manage projects from original concept through final implementation using standard project management, change management, and risk management methodologies.
  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and value proposition.
  • Develop integrated project plans and track project status, critical paths, risks, issues, and impacts.
  • Lead communication planning, execution, reporting, and stakeholder updates.
  • Develop and support change management planning, including communication and training.
  • Identify, track, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, conflicts, and dependencies.
  • Support business case development, project initiation activities, and project checkpoints.
  • Manage resource estimates, vendor labor resources, onboarding/offboarding support, utilization, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and budgetary requests.
  • Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and lessons-learned reviews.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • 5 years of project management experience.
  • Experience working in cybersecurity, governance, and risk management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and issue management experience.
  • Experience leading projects that impact multiple lines of business or functional areas.
  • Experience with project delivery methodologies, including waterfall and Agile.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to present effectively to all levels of management.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and execution skills.
  • Experience managing project financials, forecasting, budgeting, and resource needs.

Preferred Skills or Experience

  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Experience managing executive-sponsored projects or projects with steering/advisory committees.
  • Experience directing third-party resources, vendors, and virtual teams.
  • Change management planning, training, and communication experience.
  • Financial services or banking project experience.
  • Experience supporting project governance, reporting, and business strategy alignment.

  • Work arrangement: Hybrid; onsite 2 days per week
