Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Specialist to support project scheduling, data validation, reporting, documentation, and application support activities.

This position will report directly to the Project Manager and work closely with Business Analysts and other team members to complete assigned tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately with data while supporting multiple project activities.

This is a strong opportunity for an early-career project support, administrative, or data-focused professional looking to gain additional experience within a project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Scheduling Support

  • Create and maintain detailed schedule reports.
  • Support the Project Manager and Business Analysts with assigned project activities.
  • Track assigned tasks and assist with ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with team members to support project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate project information and documentation.

Data Validation & Quality

  • Review, verify, and check data for accuracy prior to loading information into systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
  • Research data issues and gather additional information when necessary.
  • Maintain a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data-processing procedures.
  • Assist with ensuring accurate and reliable information is maintained within systems.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Create and maintain project, process, and support documentation.
  • Prepare detailed schedule and status reports.
  • Review existing documentation to gather necessary information.
  • Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to improve existing processes.

Application & Ticket Support

  • Work assigned support tickets related to data and application issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting data and system-related problems.
  • Research issues and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
  • Escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate with vendor resources as needed.
  • Gather additional information through conversations with customers and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, the Project Manager, and other team members.
  • Provide clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience supporting projects, data, reporting, administrative functions, or related activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to review and validate data for accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and research appropriate resolutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
