Position Summary
The Responsible Business Program & Operations Coordinator supports the execution of enterprise Responsible Business initiatives by coordinating governance activities, strategic programs, regulatory readiness efforts, and cross-functional collaboration. This role partners with leadership to improve operational effectiveness, maintain visibility into key priorities, and ensure successful execution of sustainability, corporate responsibility, and governance initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible Business Operations & Governance
- Coordinate execution of Responsible Business priorities, strategic initiatives, and enterprise commitments.
- Maintain governance processes, project plans, workplans, trackers, action logs, reporting processes, and operational rhythms.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities while tracking risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.
- Develop scalable processes, governance frameworks, tools, and operational best practices.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of Responsible Business programs.
- Support planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, and process management for annual Responsible Business reporting and related disclosure initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to maintain visibility into strategic priorities, milestones, and organizational commitments.
Regulatory Readiness & Enterprise Coordination
- Coordinate enterprise readiness efforts related to sustainability, climate, corporate responsibility, governance, supply chain, and regulatory disclosure requirements.
- Support implementation planning, governance activities, consultant coordination, stakeholder engagement, and organizational readiness.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations, Human Resources, Communications, and other cross-functional teams.
- Assist leadership in translating regulatory changes into practical implementation plans, governance requirements, and business priorities.
- Support readiness assessments, implementation tracking, executive communications, and governance reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in program or project management.
- Strong governance and operational leadership skills.
- Experience developing executive presentations and communications.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives across multiple business functions.
- Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and governance processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory readiness, compliance, or corporate governance initiatives.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, consultants, and vendors.
- Understanding of sustainability, environmental, social, governance (ESG), or Responsible Business programs.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and execution skills.
- Strong business judgment with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
