Job Summary Manufacturing Technician responsible for producing products, supporting production issues, assisting with installation and qualification of production equipment, supporting equipment maintenance, building prototypes, and assisting in other areas as needed. Reports to and takes direction from the Manufacturing Supervisor or higher.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manufacture products according to established processes and standards
- Support and help resolve production issues
- Assist with installation and qualification of production equipment
- Support equipment maintenance activities
- Build prototypes as required
- Assist in other areas as necessary
Work Environment – Cleanroom Requirements This position works in a cleanroom environment. Candidates must be willing and able to fully comply with the following requirements:
- No makeup, cosmetics, lip balm, unauthorized topical applications, perfume, cologne, scented body lotions/sprays, nail polish, or artificial nails
- No dangling jewelry (bracelets, necklaces) worn outside the enclosed smock; earrings that extend past the earlobe must be fully covered by a bonnet/hair cover/hood
- Bare legs must be covered at all times in Manufacturing areas
- No personal grooming in any Manufacturing areas
- Open-toed shoes are not permitted; socks, stockings, or tights must be worn to cover the skin of the feet
- Long-fiber sweaters are not permitted
- Caps or hats with a brim/visor may not be worn under hair bonnets (hair bands, head scarves, or clips used to contain hair under the bonnet/hood are allowed)
- Personal cellular phones and other personal electronics are not allowed in Manufacturing areas (store in locker or vehicle)
