$25.96-$37/hour depending on Experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Lead to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting daily production operations, assisting supervisors, coordinating workflow, and ensuring quality and productivity standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have a strong production background, leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily workflow and assist with production scheduling and task assignments.
- Lead by example while performing production-related duties and supporting team operations.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Monitor production activities and proactively communicate issues that may impact productivity or delivery schedules.
- Train and support team members on processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct quality checks and verify production output to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain production records, reports, and related documentation.
- Track and record production data accurately and ensure reports are completed on time.
- Maintain adequate materials and supplies to support uninterrupted production.
- Assist with the movement of materials and finished goods throughout the production process.
- Communicate team performance, productivity concerns, and operational challenges to management.
- Promote a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement, quality, and efficiency.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support operational excellence efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or production experience.
- At least 2 years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive leadership style and ability to motivate others.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
