Production Supervisor – Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced TS16949/Lean environment for a top client of ours. This DIRECT HIRE role is responsible for coordinating production activities, supervising employees, ensuring safety and quality standards, maintaining production records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily production schedules and work cell priorities
- Supervise employees and enforce safety, quality, and company policies
- Monitor productivity, scrap, and production reporting
- Train employees and maintain training records
- Ensure FIFO material flow and proper housekeeping (6S)
- Perform inspections and support quality assurance processes
- Assist with disciplinary actions and attendance tracking
- Monitor inventory and support slitter operations
- High school diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to read work instructions, safety procedures, and production documents
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and scales
Manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, heat, humidity, and airborne particles. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
