Job Description
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Press Weld Operators to join our manufacturing team in Oberlin. This position involves operating press weld equipment, assembling and welding metal components, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate press weld and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and position steel components into machinery
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Lift, move, and handle steel materials throughout the shift
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
- Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, production, welding, or machine operating experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Steel-toe boots required
