Position Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by operating equipment, assembling components, performing quality inspections, and ensuring products meet customer specifications. Team members will work in a structured production environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery and manufacturing equipment according to established procedures
  • Assemble, inspect, and package components to meet production requirements
  • Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
  • Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues or production concerns
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and quality records
  • Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and workplace organization efforts
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals
  • Assist with material handling and movement of products throughout the facility

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attendance
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 35-50 pounds
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
