The Production Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to plant operations by assisting the production, supply chain, and shipping teams. This role is responsible for coordinating supplies, maintaining production records, entering data into company systems, and supporting daily plant activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Order and track production, office, and safety supplies.
Maintain and organize production documents, batch records, and shipping paperwork.
Enter receiving and production data into company systems (QAD and Oracle).
Support the shipping and supply chain teams by printing batch tickets, monitoring labels, and updating daily production metrics.
Assist with plant events, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, operations, or distribution environment.
At least 2 years of clerical or administrative experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills:
Strong data entry and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and communication.
Ability to multitask, solve problems, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
