Job Title:  Production Operator II – Film Coating

Summary:  Nesco Resource is seeking a  Manufacturing Operator  to support manufacturing operations in a regulated production environment. This role involves setting up and operating film coating equipment, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Pay Rate:

  • $23.00 – $30.00/Hour (Based On Exp.)

Shift:

  • Ability to work a varying schedule of shifts (A-B rotation shift)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, assemble, and operate film coating equipment
  • Perform roll-to-roll splicing, product changeovers, and equipment cleaning
  • Monitor and troubleshoot equipment during production runs
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality
  • Follow all SOPs, cGMP, OSHA, FDA, and ISO standards
  • Complete production documentation and utilize SAP systems
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams
  • Demonstrate urgency in meeting production schedules

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3+ years of work experience (manufacturing preferred)
  • At least 3 months of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (A/B schedule)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in film coating, web conveyance, or roll-to-roll processes
  • Familiarity with SAP or other quality systems
  • Knowledge of GMP/ISO regulated environments

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Manufacturing/lab environment with exposure to chemicals and biological materials
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods (up to 75% of shift)
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Manual dexterity and repetitive motion required
  • Must follow all PPE and safety requirements
