Nesco Resource is seeking dependable and safety-focused individuals for a 2nd Shift Refractory Chemical Operator / Casual Laborer position with a leading manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust processing equipment used in chemical production and material reclamation processes.
- Measure and prepare raw materials using scales, volumetric flasks, measuring tanks, and other equipment.
- Operate and clean production equipment including filter presses, filters, blenders, ovens, and sifters.
- Monitor temperatures, cycle times, and process conditions, making adjustments as required.
- Perform routine analytical testing and quality checks while following established process specifications.
- Process special test batches and collect product samples for testing and verification.
- Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, hoists, and other material-handling equipment.
- Package finished products for shipment and prepare waste materials for proper disposal.
- Clean up material spills and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Complete production records, inventory documentation, and computer data entry accurately.
- Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing, production, chemical processing, or industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, standing, walking, and operating equipment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
- Ability to pass required visual, hearing, and physical assessments.
- Ability to successfully complete Powered Industrial Truck (forklift) training.
- SPC (Statistical Process Control) training is preferred but may be provided.
