Production Lead Job Description
Purpose:
The main purpose of this position is to prepare the candidate for the Production Lead Position.
The Production Lead will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Requirements:
- The candidate should have mechanical abilities.
- Good Supervisory Skills
- Must have Computer Skills
- MS OFFICE particularly Excel
- Data entry
- Must be good with numbers
- Must be able to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Must be willing to work "Hands on
- Must be forklift certified.
- Trainable to operate warping machinery.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Train to perform Invoicing
- Inventory Control of all Warehouses
- Inventory Tracking – Yarn, Beams.
- Preparing shipping / receiving paperwork.
- Purchasing and MRO maintenance
- Minor repairs
- Preventive Maintenance
- Scheduling
- Production Control
- Supervision of employees
- Enter Quality Control and Process data into spread sheets.
- Maintain Various Spreadsheets and programs for Warehousing and Beaming.
- Help Pull and label orders for shipping
- Prepare shipping and receiving paperwork
