Skilled Assembly Technician
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This role involves assembling custom products using hand tools, power tools, hardware, and production drawings while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components according to specifications and work instructions
- Read and interpret production documents, drawings, measurements, and assembly instructions
- Install hardware, fasteners, and components using hand and power tools
- Verify proper alignment, fit, and functionality of assembled products
- Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process
- Identify and correct assembly defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain production pace while meeting quality standards
- Ensure completed products meet customer and company requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Requirements
- Previous assembly, fabrication, woodworking, millwork, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, nailers, routers, saws, measuring devices, or similar equipment
- Ability to read tape measures and perform accurate measurements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and follow production drawings, blueprints, or assembly instructions
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience
