Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, highly organized, and detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our manufacturing and administrative operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring production documentation is accurate, organized, and properly logged into our systems.
This position begins as part-time with a set schedule, but offers excellent potential to transition into a full-time role based on business volume and individual performance.

Schedule

  • Initial Status: Part-time (24 hours per week)
  • Initial Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM(Includes a 30-minute lunch break)
  • Growth Potential: Opportunity to transition to full-time as production volume increases.
  • Flexibility Requirement: High flexibility is required. Candidates must be willing and available to step in and work a full 5-day week (Monday through Friday) to cover operational gaps, such as when the Shipping Associate is out.

Core Responsibilities
  • Documentation & Preparation: Print released Shop Orders and work instructions, verify revision numbers are correct, and sort all Shop Orders by their scheduled start date.
  • Packet Management: Assemble and organize complete job packets to hand off to the Production Supervisor.
  • Data Entry & Verification: Verify incoming material certifications, accurately log them into the system, and confirm that all physical production paperwork perfectly matches our IFS database information.
  • Quality Control: Proactively report and correct any data or paperwork discrepancies as they arise.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Assist the shipping and receiving department with daily tasks as needed or assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer proficiency, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and general data entry software. Familiarity with ERP systems (like IFS) is a major plus but not required.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and a strict eye for detail. You must be self-motivated and capable of managing repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
  • Reliability: A proven track record of dependability and excellent attendance.
  • Adaptability: A flexible mindset and the willingness to quickly pivot to shipping support or extra hours when team needs change.
