Summary: This General Production/Assembler position is a short-term contract expected to last several weeks. The role involves carrying out basic one- and two-step production tasks, including assembly, insertion and sealing, measuring and cutting materials, and other related duties. No interview is required, allowing for a quick start. It's a great opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience and skill development in a manufacturing environment.
Shift:
- 7:30 AM - 4 PM, Mon. - Fri.
Pay:
- $16.50 - 17.50 an Hour (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute production tasks following established guidelines and specifications.
- Perform assembly, insertion, sealing, pulling to length, and cutting.
- Follow instructions from the Supervisor or Crew Leader and ask for clarification as needed.
- Inspect products to ensure high quality and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with co-workers and management to maintain efficient production.
- Continuously improve proficiency in work methods and material handling techniques.
- Operate manual and semi-automatic converting equipment and tools as required.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications:
- Stable work history or relevant educational experience.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the work shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Capable of lifting and moving materials up to 25 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
