Our client, an innovative company in the manufacturing and clean energy industry, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their growing team in Houston. This position is ideal for someone with purchasing or procurement experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while supporting engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, process, and manage purchase orders within the ERP system.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with internal departments and project teams.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding purchase orders, delivery schedules, and order status.
  • Monitor supplier acknowledgments, lead times, and shipment updates.
  • Track open purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding and supplier documentation.
  • Support invoice reconciliation and resolve purchase order discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and purchasing documentation.
  • Prepare procurement reports and assist with purchasing metrics.
  • Support logistics coordination and material movement as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, energy, or oil & gas environments is highly preferred.
