Print Operator – Job Description
- Operate and monitor printing and production machinery to produce quality products.
- Set up machines according to production specifications and work instructions.
- Load raw materials and printing supplies into production equipment.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain proper print quality, alignment, and production speed.
- Inspect printed materials for defects, color consistency, alignment, and overall quality.
- Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting during production.
- Make adjustments and minor corrections as needed to maintain production standards.
- Maintain accurate production counts and complete required paperwork.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output requirements.
- Safely operate hand tools, measuring equipment, and production machinery.
- Perform quality-control checks throughout the production process.
- Identify and remove defective products or materials.
- Keep machines and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Communicate machine problems, material shortages, and quality concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
- Work effectively with team members to meet production and quality goals.
- Maintain consistent attendance and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
