Position Title: Print Operator
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor printer operating parameters and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent, high-quality production and ensure products meet established specifications.
- Ensure tape is marked with the correct print line in accordance with the Quality Manual and applicable product requirements.
- Inspect finished product to ensure it meets required tolerances for wall thickness, outside diameter, length, appearance, and other established quality standards.
- Assist with production line setup, line changes, and equipment changeovers in coordination with the Supervisor or Lead.
- Accurately and timely document product dimensions, production information, and quality results on required production reports.
- Communicate quality concerns, production changes, equipment issues, and other relevant information promptly to the Lead and/or Supervisor.
- Load and maintain the required amount of raw materials on production reels to support continuous operation.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the different types of yarn commonly used in production and understand their appropriate applications.
- Actively participate in company and plant initiatives, including safety programs, training, continuous improvement activities, and other assigned programs.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or damaged machinery to the Supervisor or appropriate member of management.
- Ability to safely operate production and printing machinery following established procedures and training.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to accurately record production and quality information.
- Ability to recognize and communicate quality issues or equipment concerns.
- Willingness to learn and understand different raw materials, yarn types, and production applications.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with Leads, Supervisors, and other production personnel.
- Commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement, and company procedures.
