ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF JOB:
Technical Mechanical Positions
This position involves performing basic work on tooling for production run preparation, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Some experience with tool room equipment for use in work on tooling.
- All functions of the Tool room Trainee.
- Assist in tooling repairs.
- Basic Lathe and Milling Operations.
- Be able to use basic precision measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of tooling operations.
- Be able to evaluate and repair basic tooling problems.
- Maintain shop cleanliness.
- Other duties as required.
UTILIZE FOLLOWING SAFETY EQUIPMENT WHEN APPLICABLE:
- Safety glasses
- Steel toe shoes
- Ear plugs
- Other safety equipment as specified by the supervisor
- Lockout/Tagout Program
- Forklift and Crane Safety
- Emergency Action Plan
- Hazardous Communication Program
- Accident reporting
- Safety rules
