Nesco Resource is currently seeking Press/Steam Line Associates for a temporary assignment at in Laurens, SC. This is a seasonal, temporary position supporting the production of return products.
Position Summary
The Press/Steam Line Associate is responsible for operating steam and pressing equipment to prepare graduation apparel for production and shipment. This role ensures gowns and other graduation products are pressed, steamed, inspected, and finished according to Jostens' quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate steam and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Press and steam graduation gowns and apparel to remove wrinkles.
- Inspect garments for quality, appearance, and defects.
- Fold, stack, and prepare finished products for the next stage of production.
- Meet daily production and quality goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Willingness to learn and follow work instructions.
Pay Rate
- 1st Shift Training:$15.00/hour
Work Schedule
- Training will be completed on 1st Shift (Monday–Friday).
- Overtime may be required based on production needs.
