Press Operator

Location: Milford, CT
Pay:$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate press machines to produce quality parts while following safety and production procedures.

What You'll Do

• Operate press machines according to production instructions.
• Set up and monitor machines during production.
• Check finished parts to make sure they meet quality standards.
• Make basic machine adjustments when needed.
• Keep machines and your work area clean and organized.
• Perform basic machine maintenance.
• Identify and report machine or production problems.
• Read and follow work instructions and production paperwork.
• Keep accurate production records.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

What We're Looking For

• Previous press or machine operating experience is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Good attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
