Press Machine Operator – 2nd or 3rd Shift
Must train on 1st Shift up to 4 months
Shift Options:
- 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 9:15 PM – 5:15 AM
Job Summary
Under limited supervision, the Press Machine Operator:
- Operates progressive stamping press machines
- Uses auxiliary equipment including overhead cranes and tool & die equipment
- Produces pre-assembly parts for the production line
- Performs machine setup and adjustments
- Maintains quality and production standards
Typical Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press machines with minimal supervision
- Change over equipment as needed
- Inspect dies and parts for defects
- Perform quality checks and measurements
- Make machine adjustments to maintain production quality
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Follow safety and housekeeping standards
Skills & Experience Preferred
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience
- Press operation or stamping experience preferred
- Tool & die knowledge helpful
- Ability to read measurements and inspect parts
- Strong attention to safety and quality standards
