Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To operate primary operations equipment- Molding.
- To efficiently and safely operate equipment, including making satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality.
- To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification.
- Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information.
- Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to ensure the continuation of control conditions.
- Provide active input to the continuation of control conditions.
- Effectively communicate job-related information to co-workers, supervisor, service areas, and others who need to know.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.
- Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.
- Provide assistance in writing new or revising old procedures.
- Participated in the training of others and aid in their appraisal.
- Perform other tasks as requested.
- Qualifications
- Able to read and understand procedures, process sheets, etc.
- Able to do basic math calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Understand decimals, Fractions, percentages, averages, etc.
- Able to write legible sentences.
- Operate and adjust equipment properly.
- Properly use measuring equipment and accurately interpret results.
- Understand and apply SPC fundamentals.
- Demonstrate satisfactory relational skills with regard to communications, cooperative associations, and participation in continuous improvement.
- Thorough knowledge of all applicable process documentation.
- Exhibit positive team behaviors.

- Ability to understand and follow, procedures, work instructions, and process documents.
- Basic math skills (fractions and decimals).
- Strong communication skills to interact with operators and supervisors regarding machine problems or quality concerns.
