Nesco Resource is looking for a Prep Blast Associate-(Weekends) located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Saturday & Sunday 6AM-6PM
Pay:
$24.64/Hour ($22 + 12% shift differential)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Prep Blast Associate to support manufacturing and surface preparation operations. This position involves setting up machinery, performing sandblasting on the interior and exterior of coils and tubes, and preparing materials for further processing. The ideal candidate is comfortable with heavy physical activity, manual labor, and multitasking in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare machinery for blasting operations.
- Perform sandblasting on the interior and exterior surfaces of coils and tubes measuring approximately 3–6 feet in length.
- Handle and position materials to ensure proper preparation and processing.
- Perform physically demanding manual labor throughout the workday.
- Multitask while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
- Follow established safety procedures and operating instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with additional manufacturing and material preparation tasks as needed.
- Previous manufacturing, production, or manual labor experience preferred.
- Experience operating machinery or performing sandblasting is a plus.
- Comfortable with heavy physical activity and repetitive manual labor.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to handle, position, and work with coils and tubes measuring approximately 3–6 feet in length.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new processes.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
