Nesco Resource is hiring Plastic Injection Mold Press Operators for a great opportunity in Clinton Township, MI!

Pay:$16.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview

The Plastic Injection Mold Press Operator is responsible for safely operating molding processes, handling parts, and performing secondary operations to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely remove finished parts from the molding process while maintaining product quality.
  • Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet approved samples and specifications.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Receive training and follow established work instructions for molding, assembly, and secondary operations.
  • Communicate promptly when parts do not match approved samples or quality standards.
  • Install preloads and other components as required for the molding process.
  • Trim, assemble, and prepare parts according to specifications.
  • Package finished parts accurately according to required quantities and procedures.
  • Record job information, production details, and scrap totals on tally sheets.
  • Use computer systems for timekeeping and job assignment tracking.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all applicable regulatory, quality, and customer requirements, particularly those related to medical products and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Support and demonstrate the company's purpose, principles, and vision through daily work practices.

  • Previous experience operating plastic injection molding equipment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to follow all safety and quality procedures.
