Plant Supervisor – Direct Hire Opportunity

Salary:$60,000–$65,000/year
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plant Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing team in Laceyville, PA. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong floor presence, team leadership, and the ability to optimize workflow while maintaining a productive and positive culture. The ideal candidate will enjoy working closely with both people and products while driving operational efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production floor operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met
- Lead, motivate, and supervise production staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Execute production plans while optimizing the use of materials, machinery, and labor resources
- Monitor production schedules and ensure customer shipments are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Coordinate workflow and staffing to maintain smooth plant operations
- Assist with production reporting and help streamline electronic recordkeeping processes
- Partner with management to evaluate, purchase, and maintain production equipment
- Train employees on proper equipment use and operational procedures
- Conduct employee evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary
- Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and overall plant performance
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with employees at all levels
