Well-established machine shop in the Brook Park area is looking for an accomplished manufacturing professional to fill an opening for a Plant Manager. This position would be responsible for the overall operations of a two shift production facility. Plant Manager responsibilities would include:
- Oversee all manufacturing operations including scheduling and planning
- Develop and maintain processes that will improve efficiencies and reduce waste
- Setting Key Performance Indicators and track progress
- Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance; maintain proper documentation and permitting
- Oversee supply chain and logistics operations
- Actively involved in the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Lead and continue to develop a high performing production staff
- 7+ years of manufacturing management in a machining/fabrication environment
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field preferred; Associates Degree would be considered
- Experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent communicative and organizational skills
