Join our dynamic team and take charge of a pivotal role in driving financial efficiency and innovation within our plant. You'll have the opportunity to oversee, analyze, and validate cost expenditures while championing reduction initiatives that make a real impact.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze manufacturing activities and document/validate changes in processes to assess cost impact.
  • Prepare insightful reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Provide management with detailed reports that highlight and compare factors affecting product profitability.
  • Collaborate with continuous improvement and process teams to drive innovation.
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor inventory cycle count adjustments to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct internal cost audits in line with GAAP standards.
  • Maintain accuracy in the SAP/ERP system.
  • Drive cost savings from improvement initiatives.
  • Enhance speed and accuracy of plant profitability drivers.
  • Ensure precise cycle count adjustments.
  • Track plant performance leading indicators.
  • Maintain accuracy in program profitability using the Burden model.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cost accounting experience (essential).
  • Proficiency with SAP is a must.
  • Strong statistical knowledge.
  • Meet key competencies for the role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail paired with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process.
  • Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills.
  • Solid grasp of costing principles and systems.
