Pay and Shift Details
Pay:$25-$32 Depending on Experience
Shift:
2nd shift 1:30pm - 10:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding of piping systems up to 48 Ø using SMAW and FCAW equipment
- Prepare, cut, bevel, and assemble pipe components using CNC pipe cutters and tube benders
- Read and interpret both structural and piping blueprints with accuracy
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and code specifications (ASME Section IX, API codes)
- Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
- Work collaboratively with fabrication and engineering teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural welding/fitting or pipe welding in industrial or fabrication environments
- Proficiency with SMAW, FCAW welding equipment
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills (structural and piping)
- Knowledge of ASME Section IX and API welding standards
- Ability to work in multiple positions (1G–6G) and handle large-diameter pipes
- AISC certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robotic pipe welding equipment
- Additional welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
