We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder to join our fabrication shop. This position is responsible for the layout, cutting, prepping, fitting, and welding of process piping systems in accordance with shop and industry standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in process piping fabrication is required. Candidates with less experience will not be considered, given the wide variety of process piping systems handled in our shop.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and produce high-quality welds/fit-ups with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of process piping fabrication standards and best practices (candidates with the required experience should already be familiar with the full scope of this role).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Cut, prep, and fit own material as needed for assigned jobs.
  • Must be flexible and willing to perform cutting/prepping duties when required, even if not part of every job.
  • Fabricate and weld piping systems including:
    • Meter Tube Piping / Gas Measurement Piping
    • Pig Launchers/Receivers
    • Non-Code Vessels
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometrics, and specifications.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the fabrication process.

Our shop specializes in process piping fabrication, with a primary focus on:

  • Gas measurement/meter tube piping
  • Pig launchers and receivers
  • Non-code vessels

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of verifiable experience in process piping fabrication (required — no exceptions)
  • Ability to work with a wide range of process piping types and configurations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Team-oriented with a flexible, willing attitude toward varied shop tasks
  • Must be able to pass prequalification assessments.
  • High school diploma or GED required
