Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Pick, Pack Ship Associate is to accurately pick, package, and prepare products to ship for customer order fulfillment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Efficiently locate products per order in rack and shelving locations.
- Accurately pick products to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
- Follow written instructions with acute attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all packing and shipping tasks.
- Utilize barcoding, labeling to identify correct parts.
- Pre-packing stock.
- Route picked orders to destination.
Qualifications:
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to follow written instructions accurately and independently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure error-free order fulfillment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to crouch and stoop.
- Ability to walk and stand up for 8 hours per day.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment with moderate noise from power industrial trucks.
