Position Description:
Responsible for assisting the corporate auditors and the management team with audits and amended returns of corporate taxpayers by ensuring that acceptable audit methods and procedures are in compliance with Arizona tax law, rulings and case law.
This role includes completing audits of medium to large in complexity and doing a technical review of the auditor s work and reviewing the list of amended returns to determine next steps. This position also includes collecting, organizing and analyzing data of corporate taxpayers to identify possible audit leads for our audit select program.
This position includes reviewing and updating the audit procedures as well as providing recommendations of process improvement for the corporate audit team and actively participate in one-on-ones and huddles.

Experience Required:
One or more years (minimum of 1 continuous year) of corporate tax return experience with governmental agency or accounting firm.
Experience Preferred:
Corporate tax return expertise in return filing/auditing
Education Required:
College Degree in accounting or closely related field
Education Preferred:
Bachelors Degree or higher preferred

Additional Information:
Must have the ability to work flexible hours or schedule as dictated by business needs. This is a primarily remote position and requires internet access with sufficient bandwidth to handle applications required for the job duties. Occasional work in the office may be required.
The selected candidate must be able to attend the first day of orientation in person and will be required to abide by the required pre-employment checks including criminal background and tax compliance check.

Training Schedule: lasts about 2-3 weeks. Candidate must be available to be onsite the 1st day, but they will be remote after that. Candidate will be working on a team of other auditors.
Interviews will be remote.
