Position Overview
Seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to provide high-level customer service and administrative support in a professional office environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers by phone and in person by providing information regarding services, programs, registrations, permits, and eligibility requirements.
- Answer inquiries, research account information, and resolve customer concerns or complaints.
- Accurately document customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
- Process applications, changes, service requests, and account updates using multiple computer systems.
- Refer unresolved issues to appropriate departments for further investigation.
- Calculate fees, collect payments, process deposits, and reconcile cash receipts when required.
- Conduct research and analyze policies and procedures to resolve customer issues.
- Notify customers regarding claim results, adjustments, or additional information needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when releasing information to the public.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service, clerical, or administrative experience.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent data entry and typing accuracy.
- Experience handling customer concerns in person and over the phone.
- Ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform detailed work with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Ability to handle difficult or upset customers with tact and diplomacy.
- Cash handling and reconciliation experience preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Government, licensing, registration, or program eligibility experience.
- Office administration or clerical support experience.
- Experience processing payments and reconciling receipts.
- Experience researching policies, procedures, and account information.
