Timekeeping Associate
Position Summary
The Timekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of employee work hours, leave, and attendance data. This role supports payroll processing by maintaining timekeeping systems, resolving discrepancies, and providing exceptional customer service to employees and managers regarding time-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Timekeeping & Attendance Management
- Monitor and maintain employee time and attendance records within the timekeeping system
- Review and audit time entries for:
- Accuracy
- Completeness
- Compliance with company policies and labor regulations
- Resolve timekeeping discrepancies and ensure timely corrections
Employee & Manager Support
- Assist employees and managers with:
- Timekeeping issues
- Timecard corrections
- Approvals
- System navigation and troubleshooting
- Provide responsive customer service regarding payroll and attendance inquiries
Payroll & Reporting Support
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate integration of time data into payroll processing
- Generate and distribute timekeeping reports for:
- Internal audits
- Compliance reviews
- Management reporting
- Identify and escalate system issues or policy violations to appropriate stakeholders
Training & Compliance
- Support onboarding and training related to timekeeping procedures and systems
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive data
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in:
- Payroll
- Timekeeping
- HR administration
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems such as:
- Kronos
- ADP
- Workday
- SAP
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday Timekeeping systems
- Experience working in a large, multi-site organization
- Knowledge of:
- Federal labor laws
- State wage and hour compliance regulations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
