Sanitation Technician – Rock Hill, SC
We are hiring Sanitation Technicians for a food manufacturing facility in Rock Hill, SC. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production and warehouse environment while following food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, totes, buckets, containers and work areas
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, production areas, docks, breakrooms and restrooms
- Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, trash compactors and other sanitation equipment
- Remove trash and cardboard and maintain clean outside grounds
- Restock production sanitation supplies
- Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule and all food safety and quality procedures
- Assist with additional sanitation duties as needed
Requirements
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable walking, reaching and being physically active throughout the shift
- Able to work in varying noise levels
- High school diploma preferred
- 2 years of food manufacturing or related experience preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus
