Paint Production Associate

Nesco Resource is seeking a Paint Production Associate to join our clients facility in the Corning-Painted Post NY area. Under the direction of the Paint Supervisor and Team Lead, the Paint Production Associate will set up, hang, and prepare parts and products on the paint line according to production orders.

Shift: Monday thru Friday
6:30am to 3pm
Pay: $17.00

This is a hands-on manufacturing position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a production environment and takes pride in quality and accuracy. General manufacturing experience is preferred, but this position may be considered a trainee opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Hang parts and products on the paint line for painting and powder coating according to production orders.
• Verify part counts, inventory, quantity, quality, and color against production orders.
• Assist with setting up the paint line and production materials.
• Help maintain equipment and machinery as directed.
• Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping according to the posted schedule.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Work in other production areas as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Take advantage of overtime opportunities as available.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, potentially 8 or more hours per day.
• Ability to regularly lift, bend, reach, and twist.
• May require pushing and pulling, kneeling, squatting, and alternating between sitting and standing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production orders and instructions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.

Working Environment

The Paint Department can become very warm during the summer months due to the production environment and high heat associated with the process. Employee health and safety are a priority, with additional breaks, fluids, and designated cool-down areas provided as needed.
