Production Assembler / Packer

Location: Statesville, NC
Pay:$15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Hours: 5:00 am - 3:00 pm

Job Summary

The Assembly Packer works on a manufacturing line producing flexible hose and plastic components. This position involves more than placing products into boxes. Employees will measure finished hoses, inspect them for defects, attach nozzles and other components, apply labels, and package the completed products according to exact customer specifications.

Candidates must be comfortable using measuring tools and performing hands-on assembly and quality checks throughout the shift.

What You Will Be Doing

• Measure hoses and finished components to confirm they meet the required length and product specifications.

• Use measuring tools and gauges accurately during quality inspections.

• Attach nozzles and other components to hoses before packaging.

• Inspect finished products for defects, incorrect measurements, or assembly issues.

• Assemble cartons and place completed products into the correct boxes according to work instructions.

• Apply the correct labels, barcodes, and shipping information to each package.

• Complete required production paperwork and system entries accurately.

• Stack and organize packed cartons on pallets for shipment.

• Move materials, packaging supplies, and finished products within the production area.

• Work on an assigned production line and assist on additional lines when needed.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

• Follow all quality procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions.

• Report product defects, incorrect measurements, equipment problems, or safety concerns to leadership.

• Perform other production and packaging duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to read measurements and use measuring tools accurately.

• Previous experience using a tape measure, ruler, gauge, or similar tool is strongly preferred.

• Must be comfortable performing light assembly work, including attaching components to hoses.

• Strong attention to detail is required.

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift and move boxes, materials, and finished products as required.

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work mandatory overtime.

• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Commitment to following safety and quality procedures.
