Nesco Resource is currently hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Packer for a manufacturing facility in Laurens, SC. This position is responsible for inspecting, packing, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment while maintaining quality and production standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products for defects, damage, or quality concerns.
- Pack finished products according to customer and production specifications.
- Verify correct quantities before packaging.
- Label, wrap, seal, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
- Assemble boxes, cartons, and other packaging materials.
- Maintain accurate production and packaging records.
- Monitor packaging materials and notify supervision when additional supplies are needed.
- Assist with moving finished products and materials throughout the production area.
- Maintain established production and quality standards.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous packing, production, textile, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work at a steady pace and meet production goals.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
