Packer Helper
Pay:$15.50 - $16.50 per hour (based on experience) Paid for Performance Incentive
Schedule:
1st Shift – Start time 7:30 AM; end time varies based on production needs
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Packer Helper to assist with packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires continuous repetitive motion and the ability to consistently lift and handle 50-pound bags throughout the workday. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Package finished products according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Repeatedly lift, move, and stack 50-pound bags throughout the shift.
- Perform repetitive tasks at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- Verify product information and compare labels, lot numbers, weights, and packaging requirements.
- Use basic math skills to assist with counts, measurements, and production documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and handle 50-pound bags every 7–10 seconds on a continuous basis.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Good math and comparison skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packaging experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Continuous lifting of 50-pound bags throughout the shift.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
