Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and prepare packaging products according to established specifications and work instructions.
- Operate production and packaging equipment safely after proper training.
- Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Fold, glue, assemble, package, label, and stack finished products as required.
- Identify damaged, defective, or improperly assembled products and notify the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a consistent production pace while meeting quality and productivity expectations.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Properly handle materials, finished products, and production supplies.
- Work cooperatively with other team members and assist with production tasks as needed.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Complete required production and quality paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and lift.
- Ability to lift and move materials and finished products as required.
- Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and normal production noise.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
