Job Summary:
Pack parts according to quantities specified on customer order.
Pack parts according to quantities specified on customer order.
Primary Job Functions:
- Once bulk parts and labels are received (from Packing Coordinator), determine order needs.
- Obtain the correct size of box for packaging the parts.
- Check warehouse for any partial boxes of parts.
- Fill boxes to appropriate quantity. This can be done by hand counting the parts or using a scale. May require lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Once boxes are filled, a bar code label is placed on the outside of the box.
Additional Duties:
- Comply with all company policies, instructions and directions to fulfill company objectives.
- Address all issues with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
- Act in the company's best interest at all times.
- Participate in relevant continuing education programs as identified or proposed by executive management.
