About the Role
A well-established industrial manufacturing facility is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, overhead crane systems, and facility operations. This is a highly hands-on role for a strong industrial maintenance tech who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and keeping heavy equipment running safely and reliably.


Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive Pay:$25–$32/hour

  • Type:  Contract-To-Hire with conversion following 90+ days with company (based on attendance and performance)

What You’ll Do

  • Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on industrial production equipment and cranes.

  • Overhead Crane Support: Inspect, troubleshoot, and support crane systems and related components.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled PMs, inspections, and corrective actions.

  • Electrical Work: Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including 480V.

  • Mechanical & Fabrication: Repair components and fabricate parts using machine tools.

  • Pumps, Piping & Compressors: Repair and replace piping, fittings, pumps, and air systems.

  • Facility Maintenance: Support carpentry, plumbing, and general building maintenance as needed.

  • Documentation & CMMS: Complete work orders and maintain technical records (schematics, drawings, photos).

  • Safety & Production Support: Communicate equipment issues impacting safety, quality, or production and follow all PPE and safety standards.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, engineering, quality, and operations to improve reliability and efficiency.


What We’re Looking For

  • Industrial Maintenance Experience: 4+ years in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Electrical Troubleshooting: Strong experience with industrial electrical systems (up to 480V).

  • Mechanical Systems: Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Crane & Lifting Equipment: Experience working with overhead cranes and related controls.

  • Blueprints & Schematics: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

  • Welding & Fabrication: Comfortable using welding equipment and shop tools.

  • CMMS / Work Orders: Experience using a maintenance system to track work and PMs.

  • CNC Exposure (Preferred): Experience supporting CNC machines is a strong plus.

  • Material Handling: Forklift certification (or ability to obtain – company provided).


Available Shifts

  • Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
