Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and administrative functions. This role is responsible for maintaining records, processing documentation, supporting claims administration, and providing general clerical assistance in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with multiple priorities while delivering excellent internal customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Type and prepare correspondence, including form letters.
- Set up, maintain, and retrieve claim files.
- Process claim packets and related documentation.
- Perform accurate computer data entry and update claim files within the system.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and other business documents using Microsoft Office applications.
- Answer and place telephone calls as needed.
- Maintain office and stationery supplies.
- Process outgoing overnight and messenger mail.
- Handle returned mail and unidentified correspondence.
- Send and receive facsimiles and other business communications.
- Print reports and supporting documentation.
- Support organizational quality initiatives and compliance programs.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of six months of clerical or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Strong data entry and computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to meet established performance expectations and deadlines.

- Comfortable working under deadlines and handling multiple priorities.
- Ability to perform computer-based work, including extended keyboarding.
- Ability to travel occasionally if required.
