Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting & Human Resources professional to join a growing team in Conover, NC.

Conover, NC
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing accounting responsibilities with HR support and takes pride in accuracy, ownership, and providing exceptional internal customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and record maintenance
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring proper verification of hours, deductions, and employee records
• Maintain financial records and prepare accounting reports
• Utilize QuickBooks for daily transactions, reporting, and reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Human Resources Support

• Maintain employee records and personnel files
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration
• Respond professionally to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR-related matters
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations

Administrative & Operational Support

• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities from start to finish
• Proactively identify and resolve issues before they become problems
• Support office operations and special projects as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, HR, or business support experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks is required
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of discretion when handling confidential information
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
